Whether it arrives suddenly, as fast as the blink of an eye thanks to a memory, a sensation, a perfume, an image, or requires a few weeks of reflection, inspiration always sets the rules. Without it, nothing would be possible.
The shape that emerges from the white sheet is at the origin of the creative process: from there the Salvadori Jewel begins to come to life.
Each collection is different, each piece of jewellery has a story of its own, just like the person who will wear it. This is why the phases following the drawing can take two paths. We can transfer it to a computer, to obtain very high precision in the details; or we can start working on the precious metal right away.
It is precisely this artisan path that we want to tell.
Manual skills and experience are certainly fundamental, but what counts most in the creation of the Salvadori Jewel is an extraordinary technique combined with profound sensitivity, which allows you to work details almost invisible to the naked eye, yet chiseled to a thousandth of a millimeter. Every curve, every corner, even the smallest detail takes shape thanks to the skill of our goldsmiths.

Just like a fruit that needs to grow and ripen in the sun with the right patience, a jewel also needs time, care and dedication to come to light in its perfect beauty.
The model made by the Salvadori goldsmith masters may immediately turn out to be excellent, or it may need further modifications during construction, or even restart work from the beginning. Perfection loves patience and attention.
Thus we arrive at one of the most delicate and complex moments: the drilling.
In this fundamental phase, it is the jewel that speaks. The drilling must in fact follow its sinuous shape in a natural, delicate and progressive way, based on the carat weight of the stones to be set. It is a work of very high precision, which can take up to several months before reaching the desired result. Once the prototype in gold or platinum is finished, we move on to polishing, which is carried out on every minimum surface, even the most hidden.

If a diamond is forever, the jewel that allows it to be worn has the precious task of enhancing it to the fullest.
The selection of diamonds for setting is an operation that requires the utmost attention, long and sometimes tiring. The diamonds are chosen one by one, based on rigorous parameters such as the size and size of the holes. Everything is then reported on the map of the piece of jewellery, to testify its uniqueness and value.
From this moment, a prodigy called stone setting begins.
It will be a single gemsetter to take care of a single piece of jewellery, just as tradition dictates. This is why that jewel will also forever preserve the soul of those who helped create it, by manually inserting each individual stone evenly, based on the type of setting chosen and masterfully dosing strength and delicacy. It can take several weeks to collect the diamonds, just think that a Salvadori bracelet or necklace can have more than five hundred diamonds.
