Each season encapsulates its essence in an element offered by nature: spring is represented by delicate peach blossoms, summer by the scorching sun and autumn by colourful leaves.
But winter has the most magical and distinctive symbol of them all: the snowflake!
Snow has always been an almost mystical event that doesn’t go unnoticed, both for those who see it rarely and for those who live with it for months on end.
The first snowfall of the year is a wondrous thing of beauty. The snowflakes fall silently, resting on roads, trees and rooftops, giving a feeling of peace and tranquillity.
Snow is quiet, not as irreverent as rain or as blazing as the scorching sun. It arrives and warms the hearts of those who wait for it by pressing their noses up against the window and also of those who have difficulty liking it. It brings relief from their daily worries, even if only for a few minutes.
How many times as children and maybe even as adults, have we tried to catch a snowflake on the tip of our fingers? Those who were lucky enough to succeed, immediately fell in love with its perfect shape – which only nature is able to achieve – and then, in an instant, see it turn into a drop of water.
This is the snowflake: a beautiful and fragile creation that we each associate with happy memories, able to warm even the coldest heart.
Inspired by these sensations, our designer Marzia Pendini has created a special pendant dedicated to those who love winter and the magic it brings.
Made in platinum, it is completely studded with diamonds: 24 diamonds stand out in six points for a total of 1.69 carats, and a central stone of 0.21 carats shines brightly to illuminate the face of the person wearing it.
