Dòlfin

Tradition and history in the intertwining of two souls

This collection is inspired by the icon that most represents Venice, encloses and describes it: the Dòlfìn.
Also known as “Iron Bow”, this metallic frieze has been associated with gondolas since the year 1000, and is the stylized representation of the six districts of the lagoon city and its islands, ideally surmounted by the “Zoia”, the rich headdress that the Doge used to use it on official occasions.
Always in love with Venice and its mysteries, Salvadori reinterprets its most authentic symbol, in a line of jewellery where gold – white and yellow – paints a symbiosis between the gondola and the lagoon waters, a metal “iron” precious studded with pure diamonds.
The setting of each of these is in itself a small masterpiece of craftsmanship: the final effect, in fact, gives the illusion of wearing the water itself, with sparkling trails that chase each other endlessly..
